Walk too quickly and you might miss it! Through a small door on San Francisco’s food famous Mission Street, this place is quite the experience. Go in the morning for a great brunch (the balsamic eggs the truffled omelette would be my picks) or head there for dinner to watch everyone’s favourite old movies projected on the walls!

The best chicken and waffles I’ve ever had, on the perfect outdoor patio, along my favourite street in the city. I think that’s all I need to say.

It’s no surprise that it’s the most popular bakery in the city, their French twist on classic dishes will make you want to come back every day. I would walk back to San Fran for their avocado croissant or Croque Madame.

If Neapolitan style pizza is what you love, here is where you need to be for lunch. It’s also conveniently next door to Smitten Ice Cream shop!
2105 Chestnut St.
Any restaurant along Chestnut Street is sure to be great but come here for one of the best salads in the city and stay for portion sizes!
2250 Chestnut St.
Surprisingly amazing taco’s that are quickly taking over the city! This place is always busy and the food is quick so don’t plan for anything other than a quick bite.
One Ferry Building #3
The view from this restaurant is great both day and night with a buzzing atmosphere. It’s Vietnamese style a nice break from every-day western cuisine and the sharing plates make it easier to try everything.
558 Sacramento St.
The food, service and decor are why it’s probably my favourite place to get dinner in the city, the home-made bread is why I can’t stop thinking about it.
3000 20th St.
It’s typical of the Bay Area to put the best and most unique places in areas you’d never think to find them. Central Kitchen continues to be at the top of every ‘hot spot’ restaurant list and the bar next door is even better!

This ice cream shop is at the top of my ‘things you must try when visiting the West Coast’, just behind In-N-Out Burger. Each month they create new flavours in collaboration with the local food suppliers and community.
